Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Near and Far Events is committed to making our Service accessible to people of all abilities. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What We've Done

  • Semantic HTML structure for screen readers
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the Service
  • Sufficient color contrast for text against backgrounds
  • Descriptive link text rather than vague labels like "click here"
  • Form fields with associated labels
  • Mobile-responsive design that adapts to screen size
  • No information conveyed by color alone
  • Alt text on meaningful images (icons that aren't decorative)

Known Limitations

We're working on:

  • Improving screen-reader announcements for modal dialogs
  • Higher-contrast mode option
  • Comprehensive automated accessibility testing
  • Regular manual audits by accessibility professionals
