Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 15, 2026

In compliance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"):

What This Means

Near and Far Events participates in affiliate programs with ticketing partners and other commerce providers. When you click a "🎟️ Get Tickets," "Buy Now," or similar button on our site and complete a purchase through the linked partner, Near and Far Events may receive a small commission. You pay nothing extra — the commission comes out of the partner's existing fees.

Our Affiliate Partners

We may earn commissions from (but are not limited to):

  • Ticketmaster
  • Eventbrite
  • StubHub
  • SeatGeek
  • VividSeats
  • Amazon Associates (for event-related merchandise)

Editorial Independence

We do not adjust event placement, visibility, or search rankings based on affiliate commission rates. All approved events receive equal treatment based on relevance to your zipcode and date filters. Whether we earn a commission has no effect on what events appear in your search results.

Sponsored Content

Premium advertisers pay Near and Far Events a flat monthly subscription for placement in the "Sponsors" bar and event detail popups. These appear with a clear "Sponsored" or "Featured" label so they're distinguishable from organic event listings.

Inline Disclosure

You will see this notice under every affiliate ticket button:

"We may earn a commission if you buy tickets through this link, at no extra cost to you."
