These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of nearandfarevents.com (the "Service"), operated by Near and Far Events LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit (events, business listings, descriptions). By submitting content, you grant Near and Far Events LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify your content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service. We reserve the right — but not the obligation — to review, moderate, and remove any content at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason. We rely on the protections of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230) as a publisher and editor of third-party content.
The Service contains affiliate links to ticketing partners and other commerce providers. When you click these links and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Premium advertisers are billed monthly through Stripe. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds. Failed payments result in your listing being paused until payment is updated.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted content. Event details (dates, times, prices, contact info) may be incorrect, outdated, or fraudulent. Always confirm event details with the organizer directly before traveling or paying for tickets.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Near and Far Events LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Near and Far Events LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Franklin County, Ohio or remotely. You and Near and Far Events LLC waive the right to participate in a class action. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
